now go on an empty server and tap your touchpad to see if that fires ur weapon

also try to click the left button on your touchpad cuz that does the same thing

you might wanna disable your touchpad completely through BIOS just to make sure

you should try narrowing down the reasons for the problem

for example, join an empty server and run around using your wasd keys and make sure to elevate your arms when doing this so you dont touch the touchpad and ONLY press your wasd keys (even though you said touchpad was off i still think it registers clicks or something)

run around for like 5-10 minutes using only wasd and see if the weapon fires randomly then come back with results

another thing: maybe you're pressing your left mouse button to shoot but you just don't notice it? the mouse you're using might have buttons that are too easy for you to press or something

if you've tried to set every bind to default, then i would assume its not within the game
i cant really tell what the problem would be, you would just have to do trial and error until you find the cause

thats most likely the issue

260.99 is probably not the only driver that supports this

the only thing i would recommend is try out different drivers starting from 300 and down, if you can get them to go that low

nvidia sli tool and inspecter both dont work with newer drivers 2 change lod

if you want them to work change the nvidia driver to 260.99 and turn off windows update so the driver doesnt auto update

something tells me you play on a laptop and when you move your hand to press R you hit your pad thing and it fires the weapon

if you play on a laptop disable the touchpad

if you play on a desktop try restoring control to default / provide more info about the problem

its also pretty impressive how they maintain such a different design from everyone else cuz they're a pretty new company

i bought a computer 4 years ago with no intentions to game and got into games like 1 month later rofl

now i find my comp struggling to maintain fps

some specs atm:
-gtx gt 230 1 gig lol
-core 2 quad
-8 gigs o ram
-honestly dont know what the fuck the motherboard is but it said pegatron eureka3 which i would assume is just some random made in china motherboard
-wd 600gig blue
-some other crap

also im not the best w/ computers

i get like 40-120 fps (heavy fps configs) in 24+ player pubs, 40 only when shit flying everywhere

i get constant 120 fps in like 10 people servers

so questions:
-would i be able to upgrade this in general
-if magical chance of yes, what 2 upgrade 4 best fps increase (constant 60+ at all times no matter what)

pls dont just say "buy new computer"
im a student with no budget so this is probably the best i can do unless it would be impossible to upgrade this

i didnt try this out myself but just by looking at it by itself, you dont have the mouse2 bind in quotation marks, which i would assume would only make mouse2 register as slot3 and not viewmodels on

bind MOUSE2 "slot3;r_drawviewmodel 1" should fix????

newer nvidia drivers dont support this

revert back to driver 260.99 and disable windows updates so you keep that driver
