Amongst other, smaller, but for me personally equally annoying behavior, that is the main reason why the landlords won't have us back, yes. There is no chance of DeutschLAN happening again.
Also heard rumours about a HL LAN in Poland btw.

Well the way it worked for other people who did not attends benefit and an admin can correct me if I am wrong is that we paid an event organisation company named MTA to host the LAN on a holiday park, so they set up the LAN servers and put wires between each house and so forth. We then hired out 10 to 12 houses which we set up our PCs in and had entire HL teams in one room. We had lodging in the same building. Everything had already been reserved by the admins so we turned up and paid for both the event and lodging making it a very good value experience.
Now of course the Holiday Homes are owned by another company whom I had the pleasure of being the last person present with my group of being yelled at angrily in German by them and called "Schweins" because of the flooding damage and because of broken chairs, cuterly, items so dirty from use they needed replacing and this mainly came from SOs house. Before pointing fingers it should be noted that a lot of people went to SOs house and had a BBQ and caused most of this damage, I remember specifically Stinson and others asking people to clean up and keep the noise down and being ignored.
Whilst it is a convenient venue for price, for a LAN where there is a sort of party esque environment it was not suitable a venue especially as people lacking maturity and courtesy behaved appallingly and should look at themselves.
To answer your question it could be done under the same conditions elsewhere but the way people disrespected Stinson I doubt he will do it again. He deserved better than he got.
