I just saw the Quake thread and this game is so much fucking fun it needs people to see it. Fortress Forever PUG's. Here are the basics for FF CTF 4v4.

Attack

When you attack 2 classes are ran. 2 Scouts and 2 Medic. The Medic plays more of the fragging class, as the scout must use concussion jumps to wiggle the flag out of the base ( here's what conc jumping is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKUz2KL3xTo ). The Medics try to take out the sentry or the solider on each side. But before we get into to fighting for the flag let's talk about the red button. The button keeps the security online. YOU CAN'T get the flag without pressing the button. The Solider usually watches the button with the heavy far away to support a bit. Once the button is pressed the security is disabled for 60 seconds. Then the scouts try to find a way in by throwing the flag little by little. You toss the flag because vs. really good people you will insta-gib (ask me and alder about it lol). Little by little the flag becomes easier to cap once it's moved up.

Defense

This side is more fun IMO. The Defense usually runs, 1 Demo, 1 Heavy, 1 Engi, 1 Solider. Solider and Engi are easy to play for starting out. Demo and Heavy requires A LOT of time tracking or feeling out projectiles and not having stickies just rollers and rollers that can manually det. The Solider watches flank while trying to protect the button. The Heavy has the power to slow people down with his right click and kill scouts moving at 1500 units per second. The Engi helps the team with sentry aimbot and dm wise. The Demo just puts like 8 stickies on the flag and protects it once the flag is able to be touched. You also are going to be concussioned a lot from the attacking team, so get ready to try to aim while ur screen is freaking out. Position yourself well and avoid being conced.

F.A.Q

Q: Why do medic do all the fragging while scouts just try to cap?
A: Medics have the super shotgun dealing more damage and medics still move really fast.

Q: Why 4v4?
A: Not enough people to do other game modes as of yet (unless we try to play video game)

Q: Why does Red never go for Blu's flag?
A: Well in the 4v4 mode Red's job is to protect the flag, while blu tries to attack. At the end of the half you swap teams and you try to beat the score.

Q: Where can I play and how do I get started?

A: It's a mod on steam DL it it's free and also a very small game.

I hope some of you give it a try. It's super fun and I play it from time to time and you MAY see some super old tf2 players. Cardinal shows up sometimes and is super fucking good.
