#5 Crosshair changes randomly in Q/A Help

does your autoexec include unbindall before your key binds? could be an old bind that hasn't been unbound.
if not then i can only guess it's a script somewhere in your autoexec or a class config, probably a separate cfg file that's exec'd automatically somewhere.

#3 favorite map theme? in Map Discussion

badlands is the perfect art style for tf2 maps imo. coldfront and old snowy viaduct were cool too.

#45 Music you listen too while playing tf2? in TF2 General Discussion
KikiI'm a massive tilter, so I find ambient music helps me chill out and focus on fragging.

#8 Scam warning in Off Topic
sibbymight want to reformat ur hard drive if malware bytes didn't solve the issue or try other antivirus software

another scan with malware bytes picked it up. i'll keep being vigilant, if it continues to be a problem i'll try system restore and reformatting as a last resort. thanks for the help.

All_Over_RSno it's legit , i scanned it on virustotal

#1 Scam warning in Off Topic

https://item-steam.net/ is a phishing site of some kind. Idk exactly what's going on, but since signing into it, trying to deposit items to marketplace.tf has directed me (in browser) to trying to deposit them to a bot impersonator account.
Fortunately I didn't lose all that much but yeah jesus christ, don't want anyone with more valuable stuff to suffer the same fate. I won't be blasé enough to entertain any sus requests again.

Edit: After speaking to another victim of this scam I believe there are possibly several other phishing sites being used by the same guy. Don't know their addresses sorry.

#23 Thoughts on wallbugging? in TF2 General Discussion

fun gimmick that rarely serves a great deal of purpose. i can't see it being abused for long on any map/in any situation without becoming very predictable. worst thing would be idiot pug memers wasting time trying to do it.

#4 blue snowball? in Hardware

it's good enough to sound brilliant in a gaming context where most voice comms sound like they're filtered through an expired dishwasher. nice that it's easy to set up and doesn't get in the way. i wouldn't use it for music though unless the cheesy lo-fi bedroom pop sound suits you.
(e: probably redundant as i doubt you're recording music on your current headset mic lol)
