TwiggyHe's supa good indeed, but when you want to use FaN you better not miss a single shot like him, cause most of the time if you do you're fucked; and shortstop has exactly the same drawbacks. Why would people not trolling give up the room for error given by scattergun?

The thing is the way the FaN works, it is best used when you are right up in peoples faces, where it is pretty hard to miss. Once you have hit once, the knockback makes it so you pretty much just don't move you mouse and click again to hit.

I love all these people how have never play against Flushy. If you have you would know that scout has primary weapon options, it's that on one wants to bother getting good at gimmicky weapons.

There has already been given enough ideas for how to fix it, but Valve has shown an unbelievable ability to ignore the people who has played and developed a comp system for a decade now. EasyEAlso in your first post you said that the 6s community would instantly ban pyro if it does get significant changes, which is totally not true. We've been saying this over and over, that were just waiting valve to do something significant, were not just gonna throw out huge changes on a whim.

Maybe I did not make it clear enough. What I meant was that significant changes would still leave the flamethrower. And just buffing the movement speed and damage, may make Pyro more viable, but it would only harm 6s.
And stop waiting for Valve to make huge changes, it is not going to happen.

You are missing my point. Giving Pyro a lightning gun would be replacing the flamethrower. And my point was not that you could not fix Pyro, but that Valve would never do it. So there is no reason to discuss it or how to fix matchmaking, because Valve are clearly busy listening to SFM makers and pubbers.

smokeeYppYFirst, as I said, the concept of Pyro is broken. It would take the removal of the flamethrower to fix it, and well then it would not be the Pyro anymore would it? So what I'm saying is that any change that would make Pyro viable in 6s, would still leave the flaws of Pyro, which is why people would then ban it. Second if 4hp was just talking about small changes, that would not make Pyro viable, then what is the point form a comp standpoint? Because I certainly don't think it will make a difference in the 30 seconds of playtime Pyro sees in a 6s match.you dont have to remove the flamethrower to fix pyro, just fix the flamethrower lol. your thought process is "pyro is broken so in order to fix it just remove things instead of changing them!" which is fucking retarded
also good pyro changes benefit the entire game and not just competitive, believe it or not.

Ok then, how do you fix the Pyro without removing the close-combat weapon, that takes no skill to use? Making the flames more consistent will not fix the Pyro in a comp setting. And I'm not arguing whether or not Pyro changes may be beneficial to the game, but that they will not be to comp. And tftv is for discussing comp, I don't give a damn about casual, go to reddit then.

Well they are busy making non-stoke weapon skins...

well weapon skins and changes to how the flamethrower works are obviously not done by the same guy

I'm not talking about the Pyro. I'm talking about matchmaking changes. Like an actual ranking system that works, for the so called ranked mode. But yeah implementing an ELO system is too much work I guess. It is clearly easier to fix the Pyro, and that will totally fix matchmaking and comp as we know it.
