I stopped playing spy to main exclusively soldier some time ago but ambassador was the only fun part about it. I'd rather see them increase the headshot cooldown than decrease accuracy, so that good players could still consistently headshot but you cant get 204'd out of existence from across the map
edit: also having played spy in plat hl for a while i never felt like the ability to headshot people was broken, just felt dirty by being able to feign away constantly after i hit one. I think if anything valve should see how the dr nerfs make ambassador worse by default before kinda killing it

HL has been the thorn in the side of 6's since the beginning. That idiotic game mode has attracted way more new players because it has such a low learning curve as compared to 6's.
6's is clearly the better game mode for top level play, its not even debatable. HL is really just a joke but they eat up the new player base because playing in a pub is like playing HL.
Imagine the 6's community with the HL player base folded into it. We would have several thriving divisions.
Im not about to start some kind of race war here but I resent that opinion. You have two types of players in the hl community, people like me who have fun in both formats and will play both or pyro mains etc who would never have played esea in the first place (or contributed anything useful to it if they did). Its sad to me that both formats are gonna die pointing fingers at each other because really its valve thats fucked us all over regardless of what we like to play. To be honest If you wanna point fingers at ugc it should be at the fact that they haven't killed their 6s divisions. I've been trying to tell the UGC administration to kill it forever, its the real player leech because it allows a bunch of teams to stagnate in a meaningless league instead of filling up open.

maybe its because I started playing after the crossbow was introduced but I honestly can't imagine playing medic without it. It already takes a special kind of person to play medic all the time and stay sane (not me) and I'm pretty sure if it got banned that would be even more true

I had a lot of fun coming back this season and I'd like to play in im again, ideally for a team looking to make playoffs. My pocket is a lot weaker than my roamer but I'd be willing to give it a go if that's what a team wants.
