had a great time coaching tonight :] i'll try to make the next one
http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/1491
Its purpose (for us players, anyway) is basically for hit-registration purposes. If you have a bad interp for scout, a lot of shots won't align properly and some shots will even do 0 damage despite bullet decals bouncing off the enemy. If you have a bad interp for soldier or demo, the projectiles come out of your weapon fairly delayed.
I'm not sure when this is starting, but I won't be home until 9:30 EST.
edit: Oh, looks like it already started lol. If you guys still need coaches when I get home, I'll be more than happy to help.
I should be around tonight to help. :3
Someone message me on Steam to remind me.
brahplease stop starting stupid fights over who does and doesn't do stuff for the communityeach team has a few people that help out, either by streaming, mentoring, demo reviews, coaching newbie mixes etc.d u m b
And I agree with this, but I think it became the cool thing to say that "FT doesn't do anything for the community" and "FT never streams" when that's far from the truth.
If you have a problem with what Brad said, then have a problem with Brad, not the other five people who had nothing to do with what he said. :<
Anyway, donate to bp, they are chill bros.
I would argue that sean has streamed more (not including anyone else on my team), but even if sean was second to tri, that instantly means we don't stream scrims compared to every other invite team? I seriously don't understand this gossip.
dingoi believe the ft doesn't stream thing came from ft saying they would stream and then not doing so
Have we not streamed the most scrims during the season in total?
harbleuit will be an even playing field since the other invite teams (minus FT) are streaming too so don't worry about stolen strats.
btw, any sort of thought that we are intentionally not streaming scrims because we are "hiding strats" is retarded -- not saying you said or implied that, harb. we have never intentionally not streamed because we were afraid of having our strats being discovered or whatever reason people decide to fabricate. we even streamed our scrims right before our gpit matches, which is easily the most strat-sensitive map. so i'm not sure what this "FT doesn't stream" thing is. sean has streamed literally all season, zbryan streams every once in a while, and I bought hardware about mid-season to start streaming.
as of right now, a bunch of us are busy and we only scrim about once a week at most right now. even when this happens, at least seanbud or I stream every time.
I upgraded to the i5 3570K recently and it's awesome. Definitely the best value you'll find for great performance for a nice price.
King of Fighters 13, but probably a waste of money because no one really plays it anymore.
I'm very busy lately with a handful of different things, but if I could answer some questions and possibly review a demo if you want to add me on Steam.
I support #1 and #2. That would be awesome.
I've had my qck for about 4 years and I'm pretty sure there are spots that make my mouse tracking inaccurate. It jitters a bit, but never noticeable in-game. It looks pretty worn and I'm probably due for a new mousepad, but it was a great mousepad in the meantime.
I had the Goalithus a while back, and that was awesome until I spilled a full glass of iced tea all over it ._.
It's an acquired taste but I like it after giving it a chance.
