aierajust a psa for everyone in this thread, if you know someone who is threatening suicide the best thing you can do is report them to 911. it is important to give as much information as possible so that it can be seen to that they are rescued from a possible attempt or simply put in a psychiatric emergency room, and in all likelihood spend some time in inpatient at a psychiatric ward. posting in a thread is nice, but realistically not the answer to saving a life.
This is why most people that commit suicide don't say anything..
A reassuring conversation will always be better than locking them up.
