#7 Ascent.EU saw opportunity with Connor as Nursey steps down in News
Raptor00XI feel like this happens everytime Nursey decides to play in EU

She feels motivated
Plays in NA and EU
Realizes how much TF2 she actually has to play
Gets burnt out and quits the EU team
Repeat after a few seasons

I never quit TLR, I never quit Planet Express, and I never quit the first iteration of Sauna Slayers. Until my third time playing ETF2L HL, I never quit a team in EU. This is my first time quitting a team from EU (A total of two times with one time including HL). I always finished the season with all of the other teams. I have no idea how you came down to this line of logic or what I personally did to make you come to a blatantly false conclusion.

edit: I've said multiple times that it did burn me out, but I never wanted to ditch a team and leave them medicless. I was gone for the entirety of last week due to me trying to get a job, and AMS told me the team liked Condawg a lot. FROYOTECH are well aware that I was burning myself out with a lot of tf2 (NA HL, 7v7, ESEA, streaming a lot, etc). Ascent.EU already had a replacement medic ready. The decision after that seems obvious.

#68 witch hunts within the community in The Dumpster

The original intention of this thread is that people shouldn't be witch-hunted. Which I think is perfectly reasonable thing to request. Ironic because I outed arekk out pretty badly (which I still do kinda feel bad about). Witch hunting is not the best way to handle things, banning and moving on would be good enough. It causes unnecessary drama and when the punishments are already handed, it doesn't add anything. Just adds flame to a fire. Adding another wrong to another may feel sweet, but it's purely for feeling. It's not a good way to handle things, and I think people claiming that it's wrong are perfectly right in claiming that.

The only dumb thing would be those trying to defend their 'right' to act like assholes. If you can't find enjoyment from the game unless you bring in slurs, at least do some sort of mature thing in your life and take your punishment instead of crying about not playing the game for a month or two. I don't know what the creator of this thread was punished for really, and I don't care enough to really dig up about it. I'm not claiming your someone of the sort I just mentioned. I think you're in the right place claiming witch-hunting is wrong, but anything beyond that is just stretching too far. As was pretty much said by tagg, if people are acting like trash, they should be taken out like trash.

#210 ESEA Season 29 Open Happenings/Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

I really wish open level players would understand what they do in open is going to effect them in the long run at higher levels. It would really be better if you apologize and move on and not try that shit again.

#25 Competively Viable Spy in The Dumpster
vulcDead ringer is kinda trash now, you can’t even get cloak from ammo packs or dispensers so you’re pretty much just hiding for a solid 20 seconds after you pop it

The weapon in this context is actually virtually useless in highlander, yet I see top level spies still be able to pull some amazing shit with it. The free ability to go behind is much more vital in 6s as you do not have the player pool to chase someone behind, and no one in there right mind would want to waste a scout or soldier's time to kill a class as 'worthless' as a spy. While it's obvious it's a downgrade of what it used to be, it still has many uses. In a 6v6 setting, having a free excuse to go behind is actually a very annoying tactic. This is why "BONK!" remains banned. You still have an extremely annoying weapon in the shape of the revolver to be useful with harassment.

Again this loadout is definitely not good enough to replace a scout or soldier lol. In stalemates though that aren't on last it could actually be pretty useful to bring people behind or just get free pepper damage.

#22 Competively Viable Spy in The Dumpster
TwiggyIt requires really good aim (obviously) to do damage that's at best identical to a scout. If you aim good with hitscan, you might as well play scout and enjoy the double jump. I think the amby + dead ringer nerfs werent needed.

This is actually bullshit. I'm gonna preface this by saying scout is still obviously better but hear me out. The only bad thing about the revolver is the spread. Did you guys ever actually pay attention to the stock revolver's damage? That thing is actually insane. I'm gonna side with comanglia in saying that dr + stock revolver probably should be ran more because that is actually annoying af.

I'm gonna repeat again that scout is still obviously better I don't want someone to think I meant otherwise lol stock revolver is just sick

also the axiomatic accusing kresnik of cheating on heavy is the funniest one imo

I personally found this one to be the funniest, at least. I'm honestly too lazy to find the thread but it was Axiomatic claiming Kresnik had an aimbot on heavy because he killed him insanely fast from a ridiculous range. Now I think for most people because it was Axiomatic, no one even bothered to listen to him about it. I think only a little amount of people know the reason why he thought this. He was being revolvered from a Spy and he was completely ignoring it, and Kresnik was barely hitting him for any damage but managed to sneak the kill. I believe the spy was even in the kill assist feed, and he completely ignored that even after rewatching the footage multiple times.
