musmausratonsourismyshEvery league UGC, ESEA, whatever, is going to have player playing lower than their true capability for a variety for reasons. It might be a desire to dick around or they might not have time to play in a higher more serious division or maybe they just want to seem like gods. As long as people want to do this it isn't gonna stop, this is true in games like CS:GO too and I'm sure it's true in other games as well. If it's any consolation this is true in Gold and Plat

and if you want proof for ESEA just look at the top open teams from the last few seasons.

If you are going to complain about sandbagging at least link to the undefeated team in Gold lol

Also how do you sandbag the top division exactly?

Twitchgriffalso after the first launch you remove -dxlevel from launch options it makes minimizing a paindoes this affect framerate at all? i have dxlevel 81 set and without it, I get terrible frames ingame, but with it, alt-tabbing takes up to 5 minutes.

does removing the option after the game has been launched remove the fps drop of using dxlevel 9?

You should do this

1) put -dxlevel 81 in your launch options
2) Launch the game
3) Exit the game
4) Remove -dxlevel 81 from your launch options

It remembers the setting and it makes alt tabbing extremely fast

#3 Mid-high spec PC runs TF2 poorly? in Hardware

I have to agree with AMD not running TF2 very well compared it Intel

I have an AMD-8350FX and Radeon HD 7850 on my desktop and loading times are slow and I average about 120 fps.

On my laptop I have an i5-3210 and Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics and get a constant 200 fps unless I'm on poorly optimized maps
