You do realize Plat was pocket well before he played demo, yes? He has 1,000 more hours on Soldier than Demo. Don't think Mix^ would've picked up Seagull on Demo, if they didn't think he was capable. Plus, Seagull seems competent at all the classes, IMO.

Could this have something to do with the HTML MOD option in TF2? I run Garm3nHUD and have no issues with SS.

FWIW everything after -novid is irrelevant and does nothing as of a Source engine update some time ago. Use the raw input toggle in your Options>Mouse menu instead.
