#4 LFT open medic in Recruitment (looking for team)

I spent a good deal of time around grumpy this last season either through ringing or mentoring and tldr it was a good experience. One of the nicer people I've met in a very long time.

#6 Whitelists survey results in TF2 General Discussion
TwiggyshorasThe fact that 40% want to go back to 2010 surprises me.It's because the bulk of 2017 tf2 players weren't around in 2010.

Any idea when we'll get the results of the very big survey with questions on each unlock?

I wasn't around in 2010 but I was around in 2014 and I'd describe that as "a shorter whitelist". I'd say shoras is being a bit exaggerated when he says players want to go back to 2010.

#13 ESEA Season 25 announced in News
ideekaeSminLAN :oi'm kinda new to this esea stuff, does this only apply to CS and MDL stuff or are they actually having tf2 esea LANs again?

The article is vague so possibly but I wouldn't exactly hold my breath.

#231 can we ban most unlocks yet? in Q/A Help
Twiggyanyway let's watch the EU cup this weekend and see how it goes.

What time is this at? Etf2l says first round starts at 19:00 today but I have no clue what timezone they are defaulting to. Will it be casted somewhere?

#14 Is the ESEA GF the longest esports series ever? in TF2 General Discussion
THEBILLDOZERMake it a bo5 and give upper bracket a 1 map advantage. They only have to win 2 maps but lower bracket needs 3

The issue with this is that it means grand finals can end in as few as 2 maps which is sort of lackluster. Best of 5 with no map advantage guarantees at least 3 maps while also keeping it a little more reasonable length than double best of 3 but with esea pre deciding map picks it provides no advantage to the upper bracket team which doesn't really feel right imo. I think the last couple i series lans have used best of 5 with pick advantage which feels like the best compromise to me when it's possible.

#20 COD WWII Trailer in Other Games
alec_a non-futuristic setting means they're limited in coming up with stupid fucking ways to allow shitters to kill me like exploding hovercars, which is always good. i'll probly drop the 60 bucks despite knowing i shouldn't

I think you are seriously underestimating their ability to come up with annoying ways for bad players to kill good players.

This will be the same cod game that we've had for 10 games now don't listen to anyone that says this one will be different and if you expect it to be different then be prepared to be disappointed.

I might buy it, hopefully it's fun.

#28 Yet another unlocks survey in TF2 General Discussion
gemmfor "this unlock makes 6v6 better," are you assuming that 'no impact' goes with 'unsure' and 'strong negative impact' goes with 'strongly disagree'? seems a bit ambiguous

I answered assuming that strongly disagreeing that something makes the game better is not the same as agreeing it makes the game worse.

Played with her several times on a team that ended up not happening. She's very nice and hard to tilt. Not impossible but pretty close. Almost immediately after the one time I saw her tilt she apologized. One time she used a term I'm not a fan of and after I told her that she apologized and didn't use it again. Solid arrows and good mechanics in general.

Now the negatives, openly admits to "acting retarded" and most would agree that acting retarded=being retarded. Needs to comm ubers better would often say "we have 90 and they have 80" instead of just saying "we have 10 ad". Often had trouble digesting multiple variables at once. Pocket would call "we are slow pushing, stickies on the left, soldiers bombing, etc" and when she'd drop she'd explain it was because she had to much information to process.

Tldr, not im ready, solid playoff open pickup.

#16 Playing on a desk in Customization

Mouse bungees are fucking great. Whether you do it with an actual purpose built bungee or a diy option it feels so good to not have your cord dragging. I used to use a large rubber band around the right side of my monitor holding my mouse cord on the top right corner. I use a regular bungee now because my monitor is on a swing arm but the rubber band felt way better. I would argue it helps my aim because I'm not worried about cable drag even though the idea that cable drag is hurting me is partly placebo.
