tf2 crashes before getting to the main menu, I don't get any error messages. What is weird is that I can launch tf2 on an alt account just fine, so it must be a setting or something.
I trired:
- verify integrity
- -default launch option
- no launch options
- using all the options from my alt
any help apreciated.
I completed all the contracts and I still get voicelines asking me to take more.
Well I just use this config as a base and have commands more centered towards my own rig, only reason I asked here is because someone else had this same problem and you posted on reddit the solution was a command but didn't specify which one :P

Can you give a little more detail about these commands, since you other cfgs seem to disgree on the optimal values for these commands.
I'm not 100% sure but i think windowed mode adds a windows vsync not ingame vsync, so checking things like mat_vsync won't tell you wether vsync is on or not.

Windowed mode can enable vsync making the game smoother but increasing input lag.
try going into an offline server first
