I tried to get a team going before finals last semester. It was a bad idea. To anyone who tried out for that team and was told you could play on it, or screw off, those offers still stand.

If you tried out and I didn't say anything don't worry! It's not that you sucked it's just that I was busy out of my mind and couldn't figure TF2 stuff out. Feel free to try out again.

Sorry guys, but I've had around 10-15 (no joke) UGC steel scouts add me for tryouts and I stopped letting them try out after the 3rd guy with no comms and 100 DPM tried. That's just a waste of time for me. If you are in that position, move up to silver, and find a fresh open team with no experience. Hell, create your own!

We'd rather have a group of fun, good guys that are dedicated to improving than a bunch of asshole/immature/jerks that are really really good at the game.

My friends list might be close to full again, so post here or try adding me for a tryout.

If both demos go left (respectively to their own side), you can definitely shoot a stick across mid at the other demo.

Source: I do this every single time I pug the map.

Stone also made this really quick rollout that leaves you with reasonable health, although it does have a "40% chance of shreking yourself" as Benroads commented.

Update:
Here's RC3a, with a few fixes for the UGC preseason. RC4 should come whenever I feel like fixing a million tiny things (aka when I'm bored at like, 3 am some night this week).

Changes: Some odd clipping fixed, you can't get outside the map next to spawn anymore, and the stairs in lobby are made to be a bit less spam-awful.

I'm glad it made UGC's preseason match. I'm bummed I haven't had time to update it to RC4 for the match, I've been so busy with the end of the semester. Engineering school is nice after you're done, but not during...

I mostly do PUGS on my own maps but we throw some regular maps in every now and then, usually a good time.

Hyce here. Yeah the mapper. Yeah, I play 6's and not just make maps. My buddy Thintri and I are starting a new team this next season and so far the only guys we have for sure are him and myself.

We're planning on playing open, either in CEVO or ESEA.

Current roster:
Demoman; Captain: Hyce
Roamer: Thintri

Thintri and I have always been on the same team, although he's done some other backups before.
UGC Steel S11 HOBOSTIX (not worth mentioning, we quit early on because our friends weren't serious about TF2 but they were serious about 6's so they bitched about being bad...)
UGC Steel S13, Hyce as captain of HOBOSTIX; 5-3, lost in the first rounds of the playoffs.
UGC Silver S14, Bacon Lettuce and Testosterone, 6-4 ( 4-4 regular season I believe)
CEVO-O S4 Bacon Lettuce and Testosterone currently 4-9, won't finish the rest of the season for reasons

So we aren't the most experienced guys out there, but we're willing to work to get better.

You don't have to be super good at the game to play on our team. We'd rather have nice, fun guys who want to improve than people that are really good but are flaky/always immature/assholish. We definitely want to improve as well, and getting a solid roster that will last for a few seasons would be nice. I say we're mid open because BLT is low-mid open at the moment and I know that Thintri and I are playing at least at that level, so with the complement of a solid combo and scouts we should be around mid open.

I probably won't be going (expensive!) but I do in fact live in Seattle (at least over the summer, I go to school in Colorado) and would be down to meet up with any fellow TF2 players.
