Everyone involved in this situation is a human being. We can fully and completely condemn and decry the words and actions of these people without sinking to the level of calling them fuckin weird crazy freaks, or implying they're subhuman or whatever you're going for. We haven't thrown out basic human decency yet. You can give your take or opinion without tossing your own prejudices and hatred on this shitpile. There's a way to ask why people are defending her, without denigrating or dehumanizing her.

When a trans person does terrible or illegal things, like in this case, it's not an invitation for every young man to get online and declare that all of them are disgusting freaks. That's not the case. That ain't it. I've seen too much of that in the past year in my online travels, to be really frank.

As angry and shocked as we all were, and as weird and challenging of a time as this was for us all to process, no level-headed person came out saying she's an animal or a circus freak. You are failing to really understand the situation and how or why this all happened if that's your takeaway, imho. Maybe this matters to you, maybe not. Just my take on the reason for your downvotes.

I read this article, and find it surprisingly good. Agreed, pretty much, with it all, did lots of nodding. I had literally almost forgotten that the Democratic party never has a plan for how to win, and the present is no different.

He makes an interesting point near the end, saying that it is at least conceivable to think that.. after being impeached and exonerated, he could WIN AGAIN in 2020, and potentially even be impeached a second time.

I would add a bookend to that, though. If a President can be impeached, and then re-elected, I think it's officially time to burn the whole system down and rebuild it from scratch, because I don't think that's how it's supposed to work. (And we already know much of the system is broken - so this isn't like news, but more of a reminder.)

Yeah from purely a filmmaking perspective, this was insanely detailed and just very skillfully made. There's tons and tons of skill and talent here. I am super super impressed.

It's hard to believe he's learning any lesson. Last time, after the uberchain thread, he came to me in PM saying he was going to be pursuing legal action against her - that is to say.. his immediate reaction was to double down
