#26 Guide: Get the Right Mouse and Use it Right in TF2 General Discussion
DaStabajOk. So is 5600 dpi (I know it's unnecessary but I bought the mouse, why not use its highest value) coupled with a sensitivity of .37. Good? Bad? Messes me up somehow? 1000hz polling rate, 144 hz monitor at 1600x900 and always pushing over 100+ frames, firefights, etc.

Your maximum tracking speed is likely suffering from you putting your DPI that high, but that's probably not big of an issues at even an 8in/360.

someone's mad

People do that shit all the time, I've noticed it in almost every thread that immediately after I post the 4 or 5 posts above all got minus fragged some of which made no fucking sense as to why they got minus fragged.

#338 The 120Hz Monitor Thread in Hardware
spammyBumping this with a question:
What do you guys recommend me to get, im looking for 120hz one with probably 1-3 ms response time
Cheap/good ones is what im looking for
Edit: possible budget - around 200~250$

http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-Series-XL2411Z-24-Inch-Monitor/dp/B00ITORITU you'd be hard pressed for much cheaper
2 used ones in Very Good condition through amazon for $237.

Best off I could find atm, unless you want an "acceptable" VG248QE which is $215 through amazon.

#42 What Are Your Casting Preferences? in TF2 General Discussion

Casters with a personality, and game knowledge is pretty huge.
Would be interesting to see more third person cams, and possibly have 2 cameras and have 1 of them in like the top right with a view on a different player.

#20 Ninox Aurora in Hardware
phraxI remember the ridiculous hype for "bst's mouse" which was going to be the perfect best mouse ever and usurp every other gaming mouse because it was made by a quake player.

I think if it had been released earlier it would've been amazing but with the advent of other similarly performing, similarly styled mice like the g100s and kinzu v3 between announcement and release I really don't think it's that exceptional.

What was once an impressive "feature", the avago 3090, is now pretty much an accepted standard amongst new fps-oriented mice, although it is probably the cheapest 3090 option on offer. But then again, the performance difference between it and the 3050 in similar mice is negligible.

In the end I would say it's still marginally the best mouse of its shape and price point. However it's probably not worth buying to replace your old mouse (unless you're a big nerd) and the performance doesn't stand out from other top tier offering such as the g400 or the zowies.

70 grams G100s is 82.5g, G400s is 104g, Zowie Fk is 90g, Razer DA is 105g

g400, g400s, Zowie FK, and Razer DA can't track at 5 m/s
Omron Switches unlike the Zowies
Cheaper than any of them
Assuming the Driver Software holds the promise of fucking nothing up it's automatically the best

#30 buying deathadder??? in Hardware

http://teamfortress.tv/thread/20579/ninox-aurora

the one from this thread seems to be extraordinarily good from specs, I plan on buying 1.

DeathAdder Black Edition is the most reliable from what I've read
Logitech G400s is really good
Logitech G402 is also really good but a tad heavy
Zowie FK and FK1 are both extremely good mice (the sensor gets dirty a little to easily for my taste though)

#15 anyone with medical experience in Off Topic
runescape_boy_420im not on any prescription drugs right now and the only substance i take regularly is melatonin. The time i was on antidepressants and antipsychotics was because of an impulse decision of my psychologist at the time to treat irritability.

You know if you have problems with melatonin regulation you should probably stay away from all monitors and TVs as much as you possibly can especially at night.
