#17 2007 Team Fortress 2 (aka Orange Box) Client/Serve in TF2 General Discussion
eeeGetawhaleAloSecIt sounds interesting but every thing promised is completely doable with current server/client mods (and without illegally (?) downloading the game)
I bought this game, I can do what I want
i dont think u understand copyright law

It's perfectly legal to download a game for free, if you've already paid for it. Distributing it though is quite different which if you torrent and seed for even a second you're technically a distributor.

HuckSo pyro does less damage, can't airblast, and can't quick switch weapons?

I'm in

Keep in mind tournament doesn't exist, and ALL (or almost all) weapons have random crits, including the Sniper Rifle and Knife (i think). Also for people who like playing sniper their isn't a scope headshot delay in Orangebox TF2.

BIND Mouse1 "+attack2; +attack; -attack2; -attack"

basically a noscope headshot

probably early enough that the sniper rifle still had a faster fire rate for quick switching too lol

-edit-
And infinite crouches while in air is probably still around i.e. Bacon Leg Scout the return

Just casually checking wallbangs while fighting against aimlock through multiple walls

definitely the most convincing evidence I've seen so far...

Honestly though a good experience AC admin would probably mark a lot of them as suspicious and then wait until they got to LAN and realize the could also do it on LAN and thus are unsure if they might actually be that skilled.

ulmyxxHeadsets good deals.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Gaming-Headset-Surround/dp/B003VANOFY

after having owned a G930, and a roommate who owns a G930 I wouldn't recommend this headset.

I've owned a G930 headset for about 11 months now, and about 2 months ago the battery life started to decrease to the point where I can now only have the headset on actual wireless for 15 minutes (it used to be about 90min). Roommates headset after about 7 months started to have a short in the led lights on it so you have no idea when it's on. The media buttons on the headset of mine do not work. Occasionally when I disable the mic via the button on the headset the mic doesn't actually get muted. In general the headset is a bit heavy, the audio quality is pretty shit (still below average compared to other wireless headsets.)

looks pretty fishy to me

I figured that people would start uploading 60fps proofs now, and honestly only 2 clips? I don't play cs:go enough to know exactly how everything works but the 1st one he might've seen the -very- top of the players head through the smoke, and the 2nd one could've just been random luck (at least from what it looks like at 30fps).

-edit-
and honestly the video is pretty blurred and pixelated throughout

Cheap 144Hz atm, was cheaper not that long ago.

For people who don't want to pay for 100+Hz monitors but still want one with fast pixel response and low input lag

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IKDFL4O/

Is the 120 hz good? i thought it had input lag

It's 144 Hz, though Acer -does- have a 120 Hz model that had bad input lag but that was 2ish years ago.

This model from what I've read doesn't have that issue, the only issue that I could truely pick at it over that isn't usual for a 144Hz TN panel is that it doesn't have a DisplayPort Port, so you basically HAVE to use Dual Link DVI

UltrazHow could a hack script get through steam cloud though? Isn't that monitored by VAC as well?

You can't expect any anti cheat to be omniscient. Their's simply waaay to many variables.

flameDear Fans, As of today 19:00 CET, we regret to inform you that we were forced to temporarily suspend Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian from our active CS:GO roster. Upon logging onto Titan’s usual scrim server, while at the training house and while using a recently formatted PC, KQLY got VAC banned and can therefor not train or practice with his official account. We are currently in contact with Valve in order to investigate what might have caused this and we will keep you informed as the situation develops. Stay tuned!
Valve doesnt even lift VAC bans on their employees, that shits not going away. lmao

Not impossible that it could happen though over 2,500 accounts have had vac bans reversed

KingReptarDoes anyone know what sensor it uses? I was under the impression that the 2 most accurate sensors at the moment were the 3310 (Rival/FK1) and 3366(Logitech G502). if it isn't one of these 2 sensors does anyone have any idea how it stacks up against them?

Nevermind. I found the sensor it uses. Pixart ADNS-3090

Now I just need to see how it stacks up against the 3310 and 3366.

The Max Control speed of the 3090 is significantly better than the 3366 and roughly the same as the 3310, and supports a DPI high enough that it doesn't actually matter.

Source: I have access to mice with those sensors and have tested them (on multiple surfaces)

Also the 3090 is a good bit cheaper apparently

DeetrThere's also a thing you can do where you prevent your antivirus from scanning TF2's files as they update to reduce CPU load. Never tried it myself but it might help a bit.

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1093560

This helps alot for people who use AV like Norton, some versions of AVG, plus a few more. Doesn't help much if at all for a lot of lower impact AVs.
