#48 Need help documenting b4nny in TF2 General Discussion

What about documenting some of the other players growing the community? Some of the casters and other people putting in the sweat? Salamancer, Marxist, Mr_slin? If they're still around.

I'm getting back into TF2 after a break. What's the best way to approach getting better at the game?

#1 Blessed Be L4P in Recruitment (looking for players)

We will be playing next season, all I know is I have some potentials, (looking for more!) for hl and 6s, as there will be a team for HL and 6s with the same name, and medic, (me,) as well as anyone else who looks to join both...

We will scrim and review demos a lot, and try to learn. We will experiment more maybe than other teams, see what works.

I was a medic in ESEA-O for a few seasons, and one in CEVO, before health issues interfered with my day to day and, I wasn't able to get into games until now, which is where I went. But I'm back now and most people I knew have moved on. I'll be learning the game anew again so we're starting at the bottom. I didn't know there was a pocket scout last time I played. Anyway! I'm almost always on, can chat anytime about gaming things, love to improve and will be willing to watch demos and practice whenever I can.

I'd love to spend the ongoing season preparing for the next one, so we would have extra time to settle in and start working on the things we want to improve on.

I thought it was interesting that a bot was able to get things down like focus fire.

#1 The new bot in TF2 General Discussion

I asked the bot that is in the news for answering questions how to push snakewater mid:

"In Team Fortress 2 (TF2), pushing mid on the map Snakewater refers to advancing your team's position on the map to control the central area and gain an advantage over the opposing team. Here are some general tips for pushing mid on Snakewater:

Communication: It's important to coordinate with your team and have a clear plan for pushing mid. Communicate with your team about who will be pushing, what routes they will take, and what the main objectives are.

Class composition: Consider the class composition of your team and make sure you have a mix of classes that can both defend and attack effectively. For example, you may want to have a mix of soldiers, scouts, and demos to provide fire support and clear out enemy players.

Medic support: Make sure you have a medic with you to provide healing and keep the push alive.

Utilize cover: Use the terrain and cover to your advantage as you push. Move from one piece of cover to another and try to avoid open areas where you can be easily picked off by enemy players.

Focus fire: Make sure your team is focusing fire on the same targets to take out enemy players quickly and effectively.

Be flexible: Be prepared to adapt your plan if things don't go as expected. Be ready to switch routes, classes, or objectives if necessary.

Practice: As with all aspects of TF2, practice makes perfect. The more you play the map and practice pushing mid, the better you will become.

These are just general tips, and the specific strategies you use will depend on the situation and your team's abilities. The most important thing is to work together with your team and communicate effectively to achieve your objectives on the map."
