Yo, new here and sorta new to competitive but I've got a few years of mapping under my belt.

This is a standard KOTH map. It's a slight rework of koth_cinder by Corvatile. Initial responses from other mappers were positive but I'd defo like to see what the comp scene has to say about it. I wanted to create fast fun koth gameplay that caters to all playstyles so any feedback/criticisms/it'snotbadlands is appreciated. Cheers.

I like it! Mid is complex enough that I won't comment until I've played an actual game on the map.

The only thing that stood out to me is how open the map feels if you captured mid and are doing a forward hold. As soon as you walk through one of the exits out of mid, you have a sightline to the enemy spawn. This point in particular stands out, you can watch both spawn exits, and the only way someone could catch you by surprise is by jumping over that block on the left, but you can very easily retreat back to mid:

So I guess I'd either 1) try to move those sightlines around so that an enemy team has better chances of flanking forward holders, or 2) extend the paths from spawn to mid so there's a buffer area between mid and spawn, like viaduct.
