Nothing else has TF2's combination of team play and DM mechanics.

doing shit with tftv and lans and stuff is really fucking cool and is leading me to a really awesome career path. I love all of the different cool movement techniques that are just such unique tf2 things (explosive jumping/explosion surfing especially) and even games that have shit like that don't have it in the same fashion. It's given me goals to work towards and an escape when times get tough, and continues to be one of my main timesinks even when i'm not playing the game as much anymore

i've been playing on and off since release

it's a great game with a ton of depth

there's no casualized instakill or stun buttons so bad players cant kill you if you have good positioning/etc, always feels like you could have made some kind of adjustment to your (or your teams') play in order to survive

I don't know if there will ever be a game as good as TF2. Lawbreakers came close, but it died. When I look at TF2's movement, teamwork, and levels of brain, particularly the comp scene, I realize I probably won't ever enjoy a game as much as I've enjoyed this one. This is as good as it gets.

A life that I thought it wasn't possible at the start. I played TF2 since 2014 with competitive following soon after. I chose to dream big and fail big. I had to learn from people who is more knowledgeable than me, and I followed their advice. Joining AsiaFortress, comp.tf, TFTV, partnering with FACEIT this one time, I'm currently organizing a LAN... I may not be that good of a player, but I love the groundswork feel of it. Mechanical gameplay and steep learning curve galore. Once you master it, you'll be on top of your game. Plus, I tried different esports titles, and none of it matched what TF2 had done to me. Like the old saying goes... You'll never leave TF2.

Game makes me laugh and cry like
Nothing else and airshots make me wet.
Mechs and teamwork are on strike
Also I haven't met Drakke's dad yet.

Was b4nny's 1st tf2 6's mentor, cheered for him to succeed, now I cheer for the underdogs! Also I have a 10 year old in my house who plays offline practice now... Watch your language in the coming months, pls. :P
"How do I rocket jump, Nigel?"
"Don't worry about it kid, your nick is oaf and you've been terrible at soldier since season 3. Shoot feet!"
