From what I understand people from the Netherlands also won't be able to trade items anymore so if you have useless pixels, get rid of them (if you still can). Apparently proxies didn't work (or at least not all of them) when someone I know tried to trade still

Long time coming. I'm expecting other EU countries to follow their examples within the next year

One day soon we can return to grinding 50+ hours for useless pixels instead of just buying them with real money.

RobbeeDunno why we shouldn't be able to open crates do wtf?

Belgium legally considers lootboxes (in tf2's case crates but still meeting the definition) a form of gambling iirc. Especially because of how easy it is for minors to get into crates, it's pretty necessary for Valve to cut that off for legal reasons.

for a company that already has little motivation to work on this game removing a large chunk of their income definitely won't help. Especially if all of EU follows

lockfor a company that already has little motivation to work on this game removing a large chunk of their income definitely won't help. Especially if all of EU follows

if income was directly related to developer efforts TF2 would have had many more developers
valve doesnt work like that tho
