i spoke to this guy at a lan event prior

he was down but the only other tf2 players going were aim and sezco

he is a very cool and engaging human, if you guys want to make this happen, buy a fucking ticket

dreamhack atlanta is november 16-18 this year btw which i think is pretty good timing, na doesn't really have a fall lan.
could a volunteer also participate in the tourny? probably not but if so i would be down

we have RGB which is happening in October so this might not be the best timing for another tf2 event tbh, but if people are willing to travel to both then the more the merrier imo

Would love to go, but as boxcar said RGB is already happening in october and not sure if I'm going to have money to attend both, especially seeing as BYOC tickets are almost double the price of RGB. Admittedly the scope of the event is vastly larger than RGB's and having TF2 would be amazing, I don't see the signups looking up to have enough teams to hold an event as this would probably dip into a lot of the audience who could also potentially attend RGB LAN.

police clearance takes 2 weeks and that's the last thing I need to cross off my list before they stop turning me away at the border

Also a guess on what the prize pool could be might help pull people to the event
