france is known for surrendering a lot in the wars and battles they fought in, and the white flag is the universal flag of surrendering, so you can see why the meme is that their flag is white, as for the elon musk thing idk

Musk is in the news a lot and has gathered a large following on social media over the past couple of years. In the past 2 months or so I've even noticed a huge increase in the amount of Elon Musk I see on twitter despite not following spacex/elon's accounts.
Meanwhile Grimes has been having a similar thing going on. Been seeing a lot more about her lately as well though maybe it's just me because I recently discovered the 2 songs Kill v Maim and Venus Fly and they're pretty fucking good imo.
They are 2 people you wouldn't immediately expect to be dating so it was surprising for everyone resulting in a massive shitstorm. Both are generally liked on social media so a lot of people want to talk about it. It's not really a meme. it's just the hot topic
