i do realise that a video game forum is probably not the best place to pose questions like these to, but i figured that theres no harm in asking people who are a bit closer to my heart than trying to get in touch with actual farmers or sheepdog trialists whom i have absolutely no relation to
so basically, does anyone here have any kinda experience with working sheepdogs (particularly border collies) that they'd like to or would be willing to share?

maelstrahmif your lifestyle / housing doesnt allow them to work or exercise enough (physically and mentally) than u shouldnt get one

theres 3 huge parks and a river right next to my house so even tho my garden is small i think theres enough space for exercise in the area, also looking to get into sheepdog trials and/or agility as a hobby, depending on my puppys work drive when it comes to sheep
im unemployed/plan to work part time only so its not that i would be away for 10+ hours a day either

they're a lot of work, i would get a dog that is more chill

just go to a dog shelter and save a dog from getting killed

They are a ton of work, my buddy had a sheepdog and if it didn’t get enough exercise it would try herding small children into corners

yes we have three sheep dogs. I don't work with them personally, so I can't really answer your questions. But you're welcome to look at that picture of them. I could pass along any questions though
