Hello!
For some reason, i need to manually execute my autoexec.cfg file in game.
I tried renaming it to gfx.cfg and putting "exec gfx.cfg" in the autoexec.cfg, but that doesnt work either.
Any ideas?

Where do you have your files? And are you using mastercomfig? Mastercomfig replaces your autoexec and you will have to use custom.cfg instead.

Put the autoexec directly in team fortress 2/tf/cfg and not in custom

kaperhow do i do that ^^

If you have Notepad++, go up to the toolbar and under encoding select "Encode in UTF-8" or if not, do save as and select UTF-8 under the encoding option.
To verify game files, right-click tf2 in Steam, and select properies>local files>verify integrity of game files
