title

new stats:

+50% bullets per shot
Deploys 50% faster
Fires a fixed bullet pattern (only relevant in pubs)

-20% damage penalty
Successive shots become less accurate (spread resets when you stop firing or reload)

meatshots do ~108 damage (compared to 90 with regular shotgun)

if u could get good a speed swapping and fireing a shot off you could theoretically outdps using one of either weapon at once

the switch speed also allows you hit people with ur shotgun before your rocket reaches at certain distances

You can also “miss” by a slightly wider margin and still do some damage

i like it in casual because the fixed bullet pattern means significantly more reliable damage, and the faster swap speed is a huge plus.

Really like it in pubs as engi with the pistol, since im not good enough (at least not consistenly) to use the widowmaker

Successive shots become less accurate (spread resets when you stop firing or reload)

what's the timing like on this?

I feel like the wide nature of the spread just makes it way less practical even within its ideal range.

The shotgun from outside point blank will do much more damage.

the first shot is still meaty af with a good spread so you can actualy do this thing where you quickswitch weapons back and forth and reset the spread of the panic attack without losing too much rate of fire

played around with it and it does no damage. in ur perfect scenarios in tr_walkway and shit its good, but i dont feel like its good in any real play.

the only upside is the super fast switch speed, especially when combined with degreaser or smthin, but then u end up with no damage.

Fun pub weapon, good against scouts and fun to just run around with it.

i posted this on the other thread but if you literally dont hold down m1 and delay your shot by like 1 tick your spread doesn't change at all

Who even holds m1 with the shotgun?

You can shoot the RL, switch, shoot the Panic Attack, switch and shoot the RL and still maintain the Rocket Launchers default rate of fire which I think makes it very strong if you shotgun in between each rocket.

edit: its slower but fucking barely.
