Reload Firing Lock Up

I took a break from tf2 for a few months and when I came back I began experiencing some serious with my firing/reloading that only happens in tf2, not any other shooters, even source ones.

The main issue is often both online and offline the game gets lagged up in the reload animation preventing me from firing, I've tried both auto reload and binding mouse one to "+attack; +relaod", both have the issue. It happens with normal reloading too but less often. Also, something that might be related is that since this started, when online on servers shotguns/scatterguns shoot slower than they should.

I've tried verifying game files and reinstalling and using that launch option that sets things to defaults after removing configs.

Any ideas on how to fix or at to least troubleshoot what's wrong?

about that shooting slower than they should use these commands to get interp super low:
cl_cmdrate 100
cl_updaterate 100000
cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 0
cl_lagcompensation 1
cl_pred_optimize 2
cl_smooth 0
cl_smoothtime .01
rate 100000

This doesn’t do anything just so you know, it just locks it to 15.2ms lerp (minimum)

Trigawhy not go vanilla and see if that works:
bind mouse1 "+attack"
bind r "+reload"

or unbind mouse1 and r, then going in to options and MANUALLY changing it?

if that doesn't work and you have done all you have said you've done, then ... zero clue how to fix that (maybe its your ping lol - use net_graph 1 and see if anything looks weird)

or if you are talking about other peoples guns shooting slow, again use net_graph 1 and see if any numbers look weird

also are you using WiFi or Ethernet because WiFi is a problem for a lot of people

I meant vanilla when I said "It happens with normal reloading too but less often.", also it effects trying to fire on the automatic reload that kicks in on empty.
Also I already use interp settings that I've been using for years that I got from comagnlia's fps config back when I used that. Lastly my connection and ping are fine and I have no issues in other shooters like cs:go, dirty bomb, and r6:siege.

Issue figured out, it was my mouse. After finding my old crappy mouse and figuring it it didn't have the issue and seeing that with my main mouse if I touched anywhere on my mouse 1 but a specific spot it would start bursting and tapping weapons in csgo and r6 when they should be spraying. Time to make use of that logitech 2 year warranty.
