TcmanoI honestly don't get these threads, they follow such a cyclical and repetitive nature its ridiculous.

Someone posts media of b4nny doing something dickish
People get angry
Invite / (or other) person plays devil advocate for the situation
People agree
~memes~
nothing changes

its happened like 4 times now

tf.tv is aware of this why do you think vulcan is making a career in organizing threads

capnnofapnhonestly, I think b4nny just needs to find passion in something other than tf2. His self esteem is way too dependent on tf2 and it has to be really stressful to have your livelihood depend on a game you know isn't going anywhere. I don't know that much about his life outside of tf2, but I think it would really help him grow as a person if he found something else to be good at. I'd love to see b4nny spend more time exploring his other interests and see where that takes him. I know he likes writing music and that would probably be a great emotional outlet for him and it would be a great way for him to prove to himself that he's more than just a really good tf2 player.

idk if this is copypasta or something but literally every toxic edgelord I've met in this game has gotten a LOT more chill when they started lifting or focusing on school or something. getting this upset over a casual pug just makes it look like your entire personality is invested in being good at tf2, and youre taking anything challenging that as a personal affront. I understand wanting to be good at something to the point you dedicate your entire life to it, but b4nny makes me glad I'm not that attached to tf2 anymore. Letting a video game have that much control over emotions just made me angry all the time

I've spent 10 mins thinking about it and even the people who no life real things dont get as mad as b4nny does. An acquaintance applied to Harvard med, the guy spends way more time and brainpower learning than b4nny does playing tf2. He also takes failure way better. My theory is he can actually relax because he has "personal" and "professional" passions separated. B4nny has made his personal passion (vidya) into his only source of fulfillment and now he can't do anything to actually relax. Idk maybe he should start woodworking or smth but i think hes gonna crack eventually if he can't find something "real" to be passionate about.

this is why internet psychology is bullshit. you don't even know the guy. doesn't b4nny write music and play guitar or something?

edit: also b4nny has played for 95 hrs over the past two weeks, average of almost 7 hrs/day. Dunno how your friend spends way more time than that learning, along with having personal time, but that's damn impressive.

Yight throws a pug and b4nny gives him a 10 min angry keynote talk on why its bad.

Everyone on tftv pens their 2000 word response.

atiderepine_beetleI can't see how anybody can say that they have not been in a pug or scrim and it was a good competitive game being extremely irritated when someone starts fucking around.Yes but he is literally acting like the pug is invite grand finals. From my understanding pugs are supposed to be a casual, yet competitive environment. Yes people shouldn't dick around like yight and throw at the end of the game, but b4nny shouldn't be freaking out on him with 300+ viewers even though yight might not care, someone else will be more likely to shy away from pugging because they are afraid that the best tf2 player ever will yell at them if they make a slight mistake in a pug.

When you are playing with the best player in the world you play your best game, anything less is insulting. You should be afraid of making a mistake and should want learn and get better. The greatest compliment you can give B4nny is to go in there legit and beat him. He hasn't really had that kind of challenge since mixup. If you want to chill and have fun you shouldn't be puging with the best players you're not just wasting your time and you are also wasting their time.

7 hours a day isnt that much, unless you're tying to say working people can't have hobbies
Just cause you do other things doesnt mean you care about them
Obviously im making up assumptions

Edit: sry that was overly mean
He doesn't spend that much time playing tf2, 40 hours a week is a low-average amount of time to spend at work and it is his job after all. Maybe he makes music, but maybe he's halfassin it and doesnt really care. Youre right that it's armchair psych, but i dont think saying he's overly concern with tf2 is controversial

b4nnyIf you're not satisfied with that, I implore you to become the next great TF2 champion, but do so while being the nicest most polite person at all times. Once that happens I'll naturally fade into obscurity in your carebear fantasyland kingdom.

Does nobody remember old b4nny before he started streaming and got an ego? Dude was the quietest most harmless person ever.

Also does this sort of thing happen in any other games? I don't really follow cs/ow but from the little I have seen it's not like all of the top level pros are huge assholes and act like children...

alright i wonder whos gonna be the actual idiot in that situation: the person that talks shit or the one who throws fists in reaction to it

edit could you please bother with some explanation instead of just downvoting, show me one person that would start a fight with someone over an internet argument EXCEPT when it becomes personal and/or involves personal attacks

Also idk as far as CS since I don't follow it a ton but I know in OW you might get viewers on your stream if that's who you are but it's going to be much more difficult for someone to get to being a pro if that's what your image is painted as
