before the casual/competitive update i could just type pl_badwater into the server browser and have hundreds of valve pubs that i got 5 ping to since they were in washington ready to go. and when the map changed, i could just leave and join one of the others
now, you barely get any control over the map, it takes forever to queue, and then when you join a game it takes another 5 minutes to start, and the pubs always end after one or two rounds so you even if you get a map you like, it lasts way less than 40 minutes, and half the time it puts me into virginia servers and 120 ping isnt fun to play with
worst of all, is the new auto rejoin feature with the pyro update. i like to pub while i auto join to DM servers, and everytime it joins me to a DM server, it disconnects me immediately and send me back to the pub :(

ill raise you with a PDA animation bug where you get stuck in one pose and slide around the ground

This won't fix a majority of your problems but there's still an option to lower your ping (which pretty much means you can pretty much decide what servers you don't wish to join). This should be found via matchmaking settings which is accessed on the top left menu.

my ping limit is like 50 max and i still get put into washington/LA servers lol
