Following their farewell to their EU team, Ascent have announced that scout corsa will be stepping down from the starting scout role and moving to a backup role for the team, which was confirmed on Ascent’s twitter. In his place, former pocket soldier paddie will be filling in the vacant scout role.

We were also able to get a few thoughts from paddie about the roster swap, and when asked about the change we were met with this answer:

He killed Strawberry Mangoes. It was him. Muma and Free, the whole team, he blew it up. It's true. No one survived, but us. Ask him if you want, he'll tell you. He's proud of it. Listen. You have to hear this. We worked so hard for him. We did everything he asked us & more.

He took me from my father, alfa when I was just a little boy. He made me do whatever he wanted & said he'd kill my father if I didn't. I did everything he asked, but he killed him anyway...along with everyone else. He was scared of us. Scared that a legendary team would be born someday & rise up to overthrow him.

Please, destroy b4nny. He made me what I am. Don't let him do it to anyone else. Whatever it takes, stop him. Please...

While paddie is known for excellent performances on soldier, namely with froyotech during 2016 at i58, Rewind, and past ESEA invite seasons, he was recently spotted competing on international ping among European powerhouse Se7en as their substitute scout for the latter half of Season 27 in the place of scout Starkie.

With this change, the roster of Ascent now consists of:
