They almost certainly do read them. They will read any major discussion websites about their game, so reddit, steam forums and tftv are the ones that come to mind.

While some (see most) of the steam forums is trash, they may well have a few useful posts.

The good threads on that place's standards are some discussions about Weapon balances, but it usually turms into huge flamewar when more casual players join in.

And people who start those threads, while are smarter than the majority of Form users there, are still Pub players with no comp. experience.

I used to be like this, but I learned that I should not do do so because of my inexperience and lack of good arguing skills.

Most of them play on Pubs with no teamwork and -coordination, so decent gamer playing any power class can pretty much solo the whole match.

that's not spuf, that's scud. spuf is dead, valve killed it months ago. may it rest in peace. A lot of the posters there were bad too, but there was a greater percentage of experienced players there, even if they weren't that good at the game, so the general consensus there wasn't as pants on head retarded as anything scud says.
