So, recently iv'e been getting ping related lag spikes, where the game totally freezes for like 2-5 seconds. It happens decently often with maybe 3 or 5 minutes in between. My ping always stays under 30. Sometimes the connection dies completely, and i get removed from the server

I also use Comanglia's max fps config, and ethernet

please help this is very very annoying

Have you checked the temperature of your cpu or gpu?
I had similar issues because my PC was overheating.

If you haven't tried already, swap out the ethernet cable you're using for a different one, it could be damaged somehow

Ethernet cables can go bad so I'd still probably try swapping out the cable for a different one. Probably the easiest fix to test if you have another cable. I'd also check and make sure you don't have something running in the background that could be taking up bandwidth.

net_maxcleartime 0.5
net_maxpacketdrop 100
net_splitrate 3
rate 167580
net_splitpacket_maxrate 167581

Could you try these CVars? They'll help with network choke. Also it would be helpful if you shared your net settings, or are they Comanglia's default?

I figured it out. It was another pc on the network that apparently ruined it, when it was turned on
