Alright, so this is a lag problem. My FPS is good, typically around 100, and my ping is just fine. But whenever I get up close to particles (Meet the Medic taunt, flamethrowers) I start stuttering to no end, all the while the fps barely drops. Are there micro fps drops I'm missing? How do I even fix this?

Alright, so this is a lag problem. My FPS is good, typically around 100, and my ping is just fine. But whenever I get up close to particles (Meet the Medic taunt, flamethrowers) I start stuttering to no end, all the while the fps barely drops. Are there micro fps drops I'm missing? How do I even fix this?
You could use a LOD tweak. That's what helped me with flamethrower particles, as well as smoke from explosions, like from payload, back when I was using my pc. I am very unfortunate to not be able to use a LOD tweak, cause I got integrated graphics on this laptop I use now :(
