A bug and an exploit

Apparently, if you put the command "showpanel specgui" in console while alive in a match, you can see your whole team's health and uber as if you were in death cam and spectating your team. Found this out when I executed my autoexec which had that command in it.
Edit: After testing it in both casual and SOAPDM servers, it looks like this is merely a cfg exploit for some servers including ESEA match servers. The hud panel did not show up in casual or DM, but I noticed it was possible to see it in my most recent ESEA match on snakewater.
Edit #2: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=864347321 screenshot of the cfg exploit in ESEA server

An annoying bug I found when offclassing to heavy on last is that if you switch off of heavy while reved up, autoreload turns off. I think it fixes itself if you change teams or retry to the server. It's pretty annoying when you're trying to fight and you think you have 6 shots until you realize you only have 2.

A friend told me about the showpanel specgui command and I tested it out. It doesn't seem to be a server specific exploit more so that it just works in mp_tournament 1. Given that information it should probably be fixed assuming it isn't intentional and until it's fixed recognized as an exploit by esea with a rule made about it.

All that said, it's possible that it isn't a glitch and valve intends for it to be this way. Can't you see your teammates health in matchmaking?

just fyi, I asked tri about this last season and he said though it'd be hard to detect unless you knew to look for it beforehand, it is obviously an exploit and so it's not allowed in esea

There was another exploit like this in the past which allowed you to bring up a texture editing window which would let you edit textures while playing the game. Pretty sure the command for that started with "showpanel" and I'd be willing to bet there's more of these. These all seem like the sort of commands that should require sv_cheats 1 in any case so its odd they're whitelisted.

It is just cvar changes from test builds that slip through the cracks to get reverted back to normal hidden/sv_cheats status likely. Not much of an excuse to happen but it is pretty rare all things considered.

My favorite one of these though that I wound up reporting to UGC/ETF2L/Valve was they had an update that made a normally hidden and unchangeable cvar unhidden and not require sv_cheats (but still require rcon) to change. When the cvar was changed it made absolutely zero notification anywhere publicly since it's supposed to be hidden normally. The cvar let you change backstab hit detection between 3 different kinds, the current kind, the OLD backstab detection (the one that let you hella sidestab/"facestab" back in the day) and the other is an entirely different way of determining backstabs that basically broke most current stabs and best as I can tell was never actually finished being implemented.

I did a test HL lobby with a friend on enemy Spy abusing it, set up a script so that whenever I wasn't attacking with knife the server would be on the worst backstab detection and when I did attack with my knife it would be on the old op backstab detection.

It was great.

hey also there is an exploit on some maps (mostly koth i believe) where if you press onto the other teams spawn door and use your loadout bind you teleport to ur spawn lol

I think this is an oversight by the map maker where the spawn zone is set to both teams and clipped slightly outside the spawn door. Testing it, it works for koth_product_rc8 and koth_bagel_b4 (both spawn doors, both sides) and cp_reckoner_rc2 (both spawn doors, red last spawn only).

In theory I think you could also do this with your own forward spawn if the spawn zone is clipped outside of the forward spawn but I couldn't find any where it worked on all of the current competitive 5cp maps.
