i don't like how they sort-of diverted from the plot line that the end of days of future past set-up, but i'll still go see it as a last hurrah to hugh jackman as wolverine

days of future past more or less created 2 timelines

Khaki days of future past more or less created 2 timelines

it created the new timeline with prosperity and no mutant hunting and cyclops was alive

but yet there were still memories of events that happened in the mutant extinction timeline that were present in the prosperity timeline

shit was basically just a cop out for making two horrible x-men movies, the least they could've done is stick to the script and make it some sort of "logan is still alive because of his regeneration ability, all his friends have died from old age, but now after blah blah years a new mutant has been born" but instead they went back to the same cut and dry "mutants are bad, let's hunt them down" storyline

You're making assumptions just watch the damn movie.

heres the thing:

every single x-men movie except the first two have their own self-contained plotlines

i didn't really like logan as a story tbh

i thought it was really cool to make it like a more dramatic spaghetti western though, i felt like the plot and twists and turns were all super obvious besides

x24 being a young wolverine clone

i thought the acting, camerawork, and music were all really good
i felt like the fighting was gritty, but super cheesy and the dialogue/storyline was really lackluster imo

a lot of people enjoyed it, but i can't say i really did, i'd rate it a 2/5 personally tbh

I disagree with what he said, the thing is you can't have a comic book hero movie be so melodramatic for 2 hours. They moments in between the action were perfect for me. And I feel the fighting is incredibly well done as it shows Logans age and deterioration that is present and shown throughout the film.

And the ending was pretty much perfect, there was a slight hint of it being a bit too corny but it was very well done and emotional.

You also have to look at the partial inspiration for the film which is "Old Man Logan" it's worth a read and in some ways it helps you to understand a bit more about Logans current state.
