You're interp actually does work, i've been hitting some nutty shots after switching to your conifg, also getting much better fps than any other config i've tried. It might just be one of my good days but we'll see.

Few skim-read notes:

  • valve maps most certainly do use r_3dsky 1
  • Sure an interp of 20ms is best? I don't think this ms relates to real time packet arrival but to the theoretical arrival times. Hence this isn't different to the minimum (I don't THINK)

Some interesting miscellaneous stuff, I'll try some of it when I get home

Is cl_smooth 1 actually a good idea, I've never played with that setting.

edit: These net settings feel pretty aids, it inconsistent with damage, and the net_graph does some weird stuff.

I don't know shit about net settings, but I used to often hit 10 damage shots while being within meatshot range etc. Using these net settings seemingly fixed that, or at least helped with the issue so I can only recommend them :)

Disabling outlines in configs.... the 'unoptimized' argument is BS, the entire game is not optimized....

Whatever you do with eyes/teeth/facial expressions/shadows is all personal preference, but don't fuck around with stuff that is controlled through (Advanced) Options and stored in config.cfg anyway.
