I'm assuming he did a fair bit of production work for the Viagame Hearthstone tournament which was very well done. Props to him for whatever part he played in making the stream one of the most entertaining and hilarious Hearthstone streams I've ever watched.

I'm rooting so hard for NodeCG, built by talented people from scratch and they open source w/e they can.

Proud to have worked with them and so happy to see their names on productions outside of TF2.

While the Viagame House Cup did indeed use NodeCG for all of its graphics and most of its scene compositing, I was not involved in the production nor was Matt. The production was done by Jonas Bengston (a former Dreamhack producer) and Love Olsson. This was their first big show using NodeCG if I am not mistaken, and they've been great sources of feedback. We're absolutely thrilled that they deemed NodeCG good enough to be at the center of such a big event.

Really great working with those two, helped point out a couple bugs/inconsistencies and requested some good new features.
For those interested in the technical side I believe this is also the first broadcast of NodeCG graphics rendered in CasparCG, rather than OBS Browser Source that we're used to. WHICH IS EXCITING, CASPAR IS USED IN A LOT OF PLACES! :)))

Yeah hey! I'm the one behind the production. I can only attest to what a great framework NodeCG is. Lange and Matt have been instrumental in the preproduction behind our stuff, helping us reaching our goal.

The entire stream was part composed in CapsarCG and part composed in Chrome using ThreeJS with decklink inputs. I'm going to blog about the strange setup.

I also wrote a scraper that fed the game events realtime over socket for the decklists and turn switching.
