I can't seem to get the comp main menu working, it just keeps poping up as the default one. Help! :(

Shouldn't there be some breaks in between the score team score labels in the white background? And shouldn't the stats panel be in 3 separate boxes directly below the main scoreboard, not across the bottom?

Yup. I'll have to edit the fonts to make it work. It will take a while, since i can't test it atm.

Is the normal menu working for you? Make sure that you merge the correct folders.

Hi. How do I just use the custom + crosshair but with the normal hud?

I have tried removing everything and just keeping the crosshair stuff but that also removes my default hud?

Oh ok, I understand. I'm fairly proficient at making/editing HUD's so I'll fix what I can myself. But is there a way I can rollback to the old scoreboard? Which version might that be?

you'll need to edit a copy of the default clientscheme and hudlayout files to include that crosshair. See this guide and fog's tf.tv post that i've linked in the FAQ

The normal one is, I read the read me and im pretty sure i merged the correct folders.

A couple more things after messing around on the HUD all day:

I've basically fixed all the clipping and font errors I could find. It looks nearly seamless now on my Mac.

I can't find the file for two timers that show up in Arena and VSH. The first is a countdown at the very top of the screen, which when hits zero, you are allowed to move and the round begins. I thought this would be a simple little fix, but I checked all of the arena, koth, and control point timers I could and couldn't find one that dealt with that. That timer is present in both VSH and arena. I've also noticed a second timer native apparently to VSH that appears in the middle near the top of my screen. It counts down from 10 minutes. I assume it's a round length timer, but I can find this one anywhere either. Help?

I've also got a weird bug where if I press the button that takes me to the class selection screen right after my death when I've got the freezecam of my killer, I get this ridiculous glitch that makes a huge black box appear behind the class selection screen. It eclipses almost the entire screen, save for maybe 500 pixels from the right and 100 from the bottom. Whichever class I have my mouse on currently, that classes loadout character will appear behind the class selection box and on top of this glitch box as well. The loadout character that's supposed to be above the loadout button is also there, resulting in two of the same classes on my screen plus that huge box.

That happens on every hud with a custom class selection menu just dont press it immediately after death wait for a second or two and it won't happen,

It's never happened with the 4 other ones I've used, and the one I built myself.

Because those don't have the model preview thingy (most likely).
