Hi Guys. I just got a new pc and a new monitor. I got a g2460pf from amazon, and when I try connecting it to the pc via dual DVI, it starts up and has weird flickering, like this https://i.imgur.com/ITUf8bB.jpg

I tried connecting my pc to my old dell monitor and it works fine. Keep in mind, I used hdmi to connect my pc to my dell monitor. Is there anything wrong with my monitor setup? I only plugged in the power cable, the DVI cable, and one other cable that I think was a USB port. Is there anything else I should plug in, or is the monitor just a faulty model?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Okay I got it to work, I took out all the cables, and then I added the power cable and the display port cable only.

I have the same monitor and this is a known issue. If your motherboard supports it, try using the display port that came with the monitor. Also try having latest gpu drivers etc to minimise the flickering. Let me know if you ever find a solution to the problem, as I havent yet :/
