Lately I've been using DirectX 8 and I just noticed that in DirectX 8, it doesn't have that electric uber thingy when you have full uber but in DirectX 9 it has that electric uber thingy (I call it "Electric uber thingy" cause i don't know the actual name for it)
If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about this: https://imgur.com/a/TX9Kz

Does anyone know how to get that electric uber thing in DirectX 8?

i think it's a particle which dx8 has noticeably less support for

doubt there's much you can do about it but why do you care

If you're using an amd gpu than that's the reason why, amd removed support for dx8 in it's newer drivers and it messes with particles like rocket trails and the "electric uber thing", the only way to fix it if you do have an amd card is to rollback your drivers.
If you're using an nvidia card though i wouldn't know

I have it enabled but I realised that this "electric uber thing" also works on dx8, it's just certain commands that disable the electric thing, though i dont know what command disables this
