smesishould try fixing his personality, temper and tilting issues before going lft again

I'm sure that no one who will read this thread cares but I have been working on my temper and tilting issues for a few months. That's why I decided to make a thread. I haven't played anything besides a few pugs at the beginning of this month since May. I also didn't have a bad temper or call anyone names or yell at anyone in any of those pugs.

The only other games I've been playing are Quake Live and Quake Champions. I've just been dueling and getting molested very badly on a consistent basis. Getting rolled a good 75% of the time has taught me that being salty doesn't help my play at all. Best case scenario when I'm salty is that it makes my aim a bit worse and the worst case is that I lose control of the whole map and get spawn raped for the remainder of the game most of the time.

The main thing is that it's a 1v1 game and I have no one to blame any of my problems or shortcomings and bad plays on. I also understand that people make mistakes and videogames aren't serious so it's ok to fuck up and it doesn't matter if you lose because of it.

Seriously way better at keeping his toxicity in check. Just played a metalworks pug with him on medic and he died 20 times and didn't yell or badmouth anyone. I am impressed. Literally light years better than before.

I'm pretty sure no one will care but I finally realized how shitty my attitude was and how it affected my teammates. I've really been trying to not be negative at all because constant negativity will ruin a mumble atmosphere and make the game not enjoyable for most people.

I'm really sorry for all of the times I was an asshole and an unhappy toxic person who was difficult to play with or be around. I'm really trying to not do it and remain as positive as I can so that everyone has as much fun as possible.

This guy has always been a good caller, and i can only imagine that he has improved since then. If it's true that he is calmer now, which I'm willing to take his word for, than he is definitely worth trying out! Best of luck man

very nice dude to hang with, pretty decently skilled (although i havent seen his demo), and good mind for the game! if he fixed his commitment issues and audacity in mumble comms then he would be a great pick up!

I changed my mind on what I want to play. I would prefer to play Flex or Demonknight. I'd also enjoy playing Demonman or Pocket/Roamer. I might be able to be talked into playing Scout or Medic but it's not very likely.

He's surprisingly changed overtime and is no where near as toxic as he used to be, as said he only really gets mad in quake. The fact that I've played with him for like 3 seasons, he is totally different and is worth picking up.

even though his attitude before was kind of infamous mecha's always been a good flex player; honestly playing years with him i still can't tell what his worst class is--so no matter what you pick him up for he'll work right in.

getting trashed by people on quake has seriously helped his attitude. i havent been playing this game as much w him lately but he's definitely changed a lot and is very patient now.
