Want a bit of input on this deal. Man is offering an i5 2500k, an Asus z77 motherboard and 8gb of Gskill ram for $210 Canadian (160$ usd). Is this a good price for the combo? I don't have a lot of money to spend on a cpu but my athlon x4 860k is literally garbage and is bottlenecking my card.

i got an i5-2500k for £90, zsomething mobo for £50 + a bit in shipping and customs, and the ram was £45ish. looks like a pretty good deal. id recommend getting a $30 cooler or something for overclocking (can get it to about 4.5GHz pretty reliably) and the cpu will keep up with modern ones easy.

Depends on what card you have, but it's not likely that a 2500k would bottleneck most new cards.
