YeeHawi actually agree, but banning weapons is a barrier to entry for competitive, so ideally no weapons should be banned.

Ideally valve would have never marketed this as a meme game and added shit unlocks but yeah, I get that side of the argument too. TF team is caught in-between 2 groups of people who have completely different visions and design philosophies for this game.

This further proves my point that Valve should stop listening to these "pro competitive" players, only sharing pre-update information with them, and that TF2 youtubers/streamers are a very bad influence to the game and community. Even thought I'm not a fan of Uncle Dane, I'm still glad he was able to visit Valve HQ because at least he's smart, knows what he's talking about and genuinely cares about the game.
