Managed to snag a room at Arden hotel with Callum for £100 each from Thursday to Monday across 3 people.
(We also still need a third to join us and pay so if someone is looking for a room and doesn't mind sharing with 2 others let me know)

It's a room with 1x double bed and 1x single bed along with an en suite. Also has free WiFi and parking.

Last year I shared a room with a friend at the Airport Travel-lodge. Incredibly cheap for all four nights, about £130. Taxi rides back and forth stung us a bit more, but otherwise it was pretty good.

there are several hostels in birmingham. hostelworld has them starting much cheaper than most quoted prices here. no idea if you could store equipment overnight at the venue. just fyi. don't forget hostels.

No. They are pretty strict on this. The indoor camping thing is legit though. It gets booked up fast so you've got to be on teh shit to get in. As a further note to camping, it's indoor so no rain but they never turn the overhead lights off. So if you think you can just rock up with a sleeping bag and get some serious shut eye, forget it. One of those pop-up tents is fine though. Most people will lay their towel over the tent to further block out the light. Also good for drying it.

If you want to go full on fancy AF then do what the old hands do, bring a garden marquee, a folding bed, buy a lambs wool rug from ikea and glamp with your Balloonicorn slippers

Unless Letto is intrested i got a spare bed in my hotel room at ibis Birmingham International Airport – NEC.
It's right next to the venue. £210 per person for thurs-monday and it is pay on arrival. Breakfast sadly not included. Hmu

We took ages getting booked as everyone kept baiting me into saying they werent going then the original hotel (crowne plaza) was fully booked.
Talked to work/sponsor and got a cheaper rate at the novatel birmingham airport for like £110 for 4 people for 4 nights.
Also has a gym and breakfast
