i'm pretty sure i'm gonna mention albums that people have already mentioned here but whatever

  • the unseen / the further adventures of lord quas - quasimoto
  • all kendrick lamar albums are worth listening to 100%
  • college dropout / my beautiful dark twisted fantasy / 808s and heartbreak (i personally like 808s a lot but some people dont) - kanye west
  • because the internet - childish gambino
  • XXX - danny brown (i personally like atrocity exhibition a lot more but not everyone will like it)
  • both earl sweatshirt albums are good (doris and i dont like shit i dont go outside)
  • summertime 06 - vince staples
  • 2014 forests hill drive - j cole
  • outkast's whole discography is good
  • illmatic by nas is one of the best
  • madvillian - madvilliany
  • rodeo - travis scott (def the most like trap sounding album in this list, not for everyone again)
  • im not really a big fan of logic, run the jewels, chance the rapper and/or isiah rashad but you might like them

some good producers and/or intrumental albums

  • j dilla
  • madlib
  • i REALLY like the intrumentals in the further adventures of lord quas (quasimoto)
  • flying lotus, i personally like cosmogramma and you're dead
  • clams casino, i personally like 2 and 3 more than 1, also his 32 levels albums isnt that bad either
  • badbadnotgood

I am too the guy who never gone hard into hip hop or at least never used to but i can suggest a few artists.

Open Mike Eagle, Run The Jewels, Gambino and pretty much the whole Yeezus era alternative hip-hop is pretty cool.

From the golden era the most noticable for me is MF Doom and almost all his projects.

Trip-hop - RJD2, Monster Rally. I would NOT suggest listening to nujabes.

Also Death Grips i guess??
