its fine this is what happens with every ETF2L newbie tournament. The signup link becomes a bigger commitment than they make it sound.

First you need to figure out how to create a team on the website.
Then you need to find 5 people without knowing how (and without them knowing where to apply)
Lastly you need to sign up and keep up with the backend to schedule.

If they made a signup link that just put you on a list of people having interest in the event it'd be way easier for new players to get into community comp

We are aware that competitions like these often have a lot of alts of both skilled players and cheaters which is why we going to be very active and harsh when it comes to moderation of this tournament.

It is in Dollars as that is currency marketplace.tf uses so as the prizes are gift cards for the site it wouldnt make sense to have people convert the currency.
