Transparent and hidden viewmodel lighting bug

So I have both transparent viewmodels enabled, and I use scripts for hiding the viewmodels for different weapons. The problem is that when I hide the viewmodel along with them being transparent, it reduces the brightness and causes the payload or any objective, and other players to look really wierd whenever I hide them. This problem doesn't arise when I use normal viewmodels and hide them. And this bug came about only after the MYM update. It was fine before then...

It even happens when I'm spectating. The brightness change may not be obvious, but it's really irritating when I'm playing because it keeps fluctuating.. Oh btw, I use ToonHUD, so the transparency is from that.
Can someone tell me what to do about this or if there's a fix?

The glow effect is because for whatever reason, the refract material used for transparent viewmodels draws the outline effect over models when it's rendering. The only fix is to just disable the glow, as degu said.

I forget what causes the change in brightness, but iirc it got fixed when I was working on them when I switched cfgs. It should be based on what weapon you have out for whatever reason, if we're talking about the same brightness change. Sorry that I can't really go into much more detail than I'm pretty sure different settings would fix it.

Try a zpos of -100(0) on the refract for transparent viewmodels, this might work it seemed to reduce the issue for me when viewmodels were disabled (also happened before the MYM update)
