Does anyone know where I can find the hitsound in this video? The game is Halo: Combat Evolved.

I remember playing this game on PC HOLY nostalgia...

The hitsound sounds exactly like the CoD hitmarker sound

Kids in my high school play this game during lunch/after school in the library. There are a solid 15 people playing every day

I tried finding servers when I replayed Halo for the campaign about a year ago, but the only ones up were full of glitchers and cheaters :(

At least the campaign still holds up. Also, not sure who downvoted Nation but he's right, it's the CoD sound he linked. Have you never watched montage parodies? Or played CoD?

I think trux is talking about the beep (or ting as it's named in the game files) that is playing along with the click. The beep is the hitsound that halo PC uses normally, I think the click in this case is a mod.

I did find the ting in the halo game files, but it's way higher pitched than it is in the video. I got it in the ballpark by messing with it in audacity. I was going to upload these to hit.tf, but it seems to be broken at the moment. For now, I've uploaded them to puush:
