Okay, so i was pasting the maxframes cfg into TF2 but when i OPEN TF2 doesnt' work. "Doesn't activate"

Even without DX8 or DX9. Gaben.

Can someone help me?! Im writing this kind of angry.

change file extension from .txt to .cfg

Do you have console enabled?
If not go to right click TF2 in your steam library, go to properties -> set launch options and type -console into the window. When you start the game it should say "Chris FPS config loaded" or something in the console. If that's not the case check if you saved autoexec.cfg correctly.
