I don't like how they got rid of pubs. It's 2:15 AM here and I just want to play an easy stupid game of TF2. Now I have to sit and wait for a match I'm not allowed to leave in the middle of. Idc if they keep the new casual mode but valve pubs are the way I decompress for the night.

community servers, skial and all that are still up. its not hard to find a skial pub my man

there are very few decent community servers in australia that arent' dustbowl/2fort/whatever, and most of them are rarely even half fill

Not sure what you're implying but I think it's important to get perspectives from players that have different backgrounds.

The more casual players in the community that are making the transition to competitive. The biggest part of the community. The people that need to embrace comp if we ever want this game to go anywhere.

Because the servers being extremely busy is a part of the update. Didn't you read the patch notes?

A lot of the casual community are familiar with Uncle Dane as a TF2 persona - bringing in players to these events that are invested in TF2 but might not have been interested in - or known much about - competitive play is extremely important for the livelihood of the future of competitive TF2.

I know a lot of people think b4nny kisses Valves ass, but do you really think Mike, UncleDane, and myself defend Valve to the grave? I can't speak for everyone on the set, but I sure as hell don't. However, I'm not going to stand up and cry as loud as I can before I experience this update (and the problems therein) for at least a week.

EDIT: I didn't mean to insinuate that I think b4nny kisses Valves ass, it might be the other way around but who am I to judge.

i understand but i still think more opinions should be heard in regards of such a big update, nothing against any of you guys by the contrary but i still think the panel is missing some diversity that would help the discussion a lot

Time zones can sometimes be a problem for getting European or non-NA people on Fully Charged, as can ping when it comes to having their webcam. I think those are the primary reasons we have mostly let Fully Charged EU do their side of things, and we do ours. It's not meant as a sleight to the rest of the world, it's logistics.
